One of Helen's key values is giving back to the next generation and so she is launching the first basketball academy of its kind in the UK.

Training Camps and Development Opportunities

Helen's new cutting edge basketball academy will provide camps and opportunities to young players to develop their game. She aims to host these camps in places typically not utilised in the GB pathway programme.

Helen's experiences as an international wheelchair basketball player have crafted a huge network of world class contacts whose knowledge will be passed on through their own camps which Helen will host.

Helen's journey to the University of Illinois started by attending a Summer Camp and its one of the long term aims of the academy to provide scholarships to access training camps both in the US and in Europe.
